The B+LNZ Farming for Profit program is offering an opportunity for you to join us and witness how top farmers are building resilient businesses and tackling the challenges facing our region.
See how the Loffler's are finishing home-bred bulls at 400kg by 15-months on pasture, and lambing over 170% in the face of parasite challenge and drench resistance.
The day will involve a farm tour of the Loffler's property and discussion including;
- Beef genetics, A.I, performance, profitability cow herd, and progeny.
- Sheep performance, flock mating structure, selection and cull policy, and genetics.
- Finishing lambs, growing hoggets, integrated grazing, worm monitoring and control, and increased kill weights.
4WDs are required for the farm tour, no ATV/side by sides please.
