Past programmes
Farmer Initiated Technology Transfer (FITT) programme
FITT was a B+LNZ initiative to improve farm profitability. It offered funding for groups of sheep and cattle farmers to trial new approaches or farming systems.
Performance Plus Mixed Livestock programme
We partnered with the Federation of Maori Authorities' (FOMA) to launch the Performance Plus Mixed Livestock programme across 20 farms throughout the North Island; with funding support from B+LNZ, Te Puni Kokiri and the Ministry for Primary Industries.
Farmer Focus Groups
We provide financial support for farmer focus groups where the outcomes and solutions developed can provide new information and ‘know how’ for other sheep and beef farmers.
Innovation Farms
Our Innovation Farm Programme helps farmers identify tools and practices that result in real financial improvements.
Red Meat Profit Partnership
The Red Meat Profit Partnership (RMPP) was a collaborative programme that brought together partners from across the red meat sector to help our industry become more profitable, confident and productive.
