Join us for an engaging afternoon/evening off farm to hear about successful grazing management through winter, how to turn your scanning results into dollars and a new online platform exploring new ways to navigate farm ownership.
The evening will include
- A farmer panel discussing different ways they manage grazing during the winter period.
- Cheryl and Bryce Hirshberg – local sheep scanners on practical ways you can get the best out of your scanning results.
- Rene Corner-Thomas, Associate Professor at Massey University – on what you can do from now until lambing to maximise returns.
- Sarah How from Landify on their new online platform that brings together farmers looking to sell, investors and those hoping to buy a farm of their own.
The evening will conclude with refreshments and a BBQ, thanks to Iplex, FMG and Rabobank.
