- Frazer Weir is highly regarded by his farming clients and is an experienced financial consultant and chartered accountant with BDO, Christchurch. Frazer will share how to utilize your accountant, boost your financial literacy and get a better understanding of your debt, assets and equity. He will also talk about where to trim the fat without affecting your production.
- Jack Cocks: Manager of Mt Nicholas Station on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. In 2013 Jack experienced an unforeseen and life-changing medical event, which gave him and his family some marked insight to preparing a business to deal with change, both large and small. Jack explored how resilient farmers thrive in the face of adversity in a Kellogg Rural Leadership Study. He will discuss what resilience is, and what farm businesses and farming families can do to prepare for the future even though they can’t change it.
