Keynote speakers
- Jacqueline Rowarth (Lincoln University). Jacqueline is a reputed science advisor with a background in environmental agriculture, agronomy and soil science. Jacqueline has previously served as Chief Scientist of the Environmental Protection Authority and is currently a farmer-elected director of Dairy NZ and Ravensdown, as well as Adjunct Professor at Lincoln University.
- Danny Hailes (General Manager Livestock & Shareholder Services, Alliance Group) – Danny will join us to provide insight into what consumers value and are willing to pay a premium for, and how this translates into greater returns for farmers.
- Ryan MacArthur (On Farm Sustainability Manager, Silver Fern Farms) – Ryan will provide an overview of how Silver Fern Farms is adding value to NZ red meat through a focus on sustainability credentials via the new Net Carbon Zero Angus Beef programme.
